Individuals who think that a camping trip is the perfect getaway to help stick to a debt management plan may be mistaken.Holidaying on a budget could be an important part of the debt management of families.
But LV= advises individuals to make sure their possessions are insured to prevent any financially frightening consequences to debt management.
With 30 per cent of Britons planning to take a caravanning or camping holiday this year, compared to 17 per cent last year, debt management-friendly trips could be increasingly popular.
However, the financial rewards could stop if a theft occurs.
"It could be an annual policy or a weekly UK holiday policy, or otherwise, you can extend your home insurance to personal possession cover which covers your clothes, tent and that kind of thing," comments Emma Holyer, spokesperson for LV=.
And making sure the debt management-adhering trip includes insurance could be especially important after LV= asserts that 44 per cent of people going camping are doing so with their family, which could mean a large amount of possessions being packed.
